Located on the boarder of France, Switzerland and Italy, Chamonix is renowned for it’s vast Freeride terrain. From La Flegere’s fun rolling terrain, to the steep couloirs of Le Brevent and high mountain glacial runs from the top of the famous Aguille du Midi, Chamonix has got it all.

Only an hour’s drive from Geneva Airport, Chamonix is one of the most easily accessed resorts in Europe with daily flights from all over the UK arriving in Geneva and a vast selection of transfer companies ready to whisk you up to the resort for around €30 per person.

Accommodation Recommendations:

Vert Hotel: Le Vert is a hip and affordable hotel with a glowing, and rapidly growing international reputation as the place to stay in Chamonix. Set up by a collective of like minded characters who all share a passion for mountain life. The hotel is widely regarded as the social hub for extreme sports in Chamonix.

Cold Fusion Chalets: Cold Fusion have created a chalet experience for individual travelers in a relaxed and intimate environment with super friendly staff. Situated just north of Chamonix in the tranquil area of Le Bois their chalet really will become your home away from home.

La Croix Blanche Hotel is a reasonably priced hotel right in the center of Chamonix so if your looking to make the most of Chamonix’s night life this is a great option.

There are also plenty of hostel options,  Gite Belvedere in Argentiere is popular with British snowboarders and climbers.  If you’re looking to stay close to Chamonix centre Chamonix Lodge is a great option.
