The Splitboard Safari course is designed for riders who have got the Splitboard bug and want to take it to the next level by getting out there and exploring what the Backcountry truly has to offer.
This course is all about adventure, we’ll look for the best snow conditions and untracked terrain from the peaks of the Tarantaise valley to the peaks of La Thuille in Italy.
Starting in St Foy this unique course takes in a different resort each day, with the help of a support vehicle . Starting in the powder haven of St Foy, then exploring it’s bigger neighbours, Val D’Isere and Tgines, before ending the week riding over the Italian boarder into La Thuille.
Combining mountain safety, touring skills and further developing your ability to read terrain and choose a good line, we aim to do 3-4 days of Splitboarding with shorter hiking day in between. The Splitboard Safari course is for the adventurous Freerider looking to head deeper into the Backcountry in search of freedom, untracked powder and new terrain.
Please Note: This course is for experienced snowboarders. A strong level of fitness and at least 6 weeks of snowboarding experience is recommended. For more information please contact us via email or phone.
