Freeriding is all about creativity, self-expression and above all fun but at the same time requires a solid foundation and strong technique.
This four day course is the first step to taking your riding from the piste into the Backcountry and the life long quest to master the art of riding powder!
Freeriding requires a different approach to on piste riding, with the ability to adapt and read terrain becoming essential. This course will prepare you technically and mentally for all of the challenges the Backcountry will throw at you. With the focus on freeride technique, the important skill of reading the mountain and above all safety.
For those looking to take their riding to the next level and learning vital Backcountry skills this course is essential.

Day 1 – Avalanche transceiver training and essential mountain skills. Warm up day working on the perfect freeride technique.
Day 2 – Exploring riding technique in natural terrain.
Day 3 – Learning to read and adapt to what the backcountry might throw at you.
Day 4 – A look at creativity and how to choose a good line.
