For a sixth year in a row Stentiford Snowboarding and The White Room are partnering up to bring you epic Backcountry snowboarding in St Foy. Now in their eighth year of running dedicated Backcoutry snowboarding weeks, The White Room have a program that includes a Backcountry Intro course as well as two Backcountry weeks and a dedicated girls week.
For anyone who hasn’t ridden in St Foy yet, this is your chance! Still one of the best kept powder secrets in the French Alps, St Foy offers amazing Backcountry terrain from epic trees, pillows to open powder fields and the famous Foglietta. The aim of this week is to ride as much powder as physically possible, including some short hikes and to help you improve the way you read and ride natural terrain.
This winter we are partnering up with Hoursemouth snowboarding to bring you a Backcountry Intro week. Paul McKeen will be taking the course with the aim of introducing you to the joys of Freeriding and helping you with technique and decision making when riding off piste.
Please Note: This course is for experienced snowboarders. A good level of fitness and at least 5 weeks of snowboarding experience is recommended. For more information please contact us via email or phone.
