Japan Powder Adventure
With and average snow fall of 15m a season, Niseko Japan is about as good a guarantee as you’ll get for riding perfect light powder every day. After the success of last winters trip we’re heading back to Niseko to explore, ride and hike everything the area has to offer. If you’re looking to maximise your shred time and have the trip of a lifetime this one is for you.
With 6 different resorts to explore and endless hiking opportunities from the road, we’ve got it all covered. The trip will mostly be about resort shedding and utilizing the many resort gates to access Niseko’s endless backcountry terrain. Mixed in will be 2-3 days of hiking from the road with the aim of making it to the top of the famous Mt Yotei, weather dependent.
Lifts are open from 9am-4pm and 6pm-9pm for night riding. Generally we break the day up into sessions of 3-4 hours, often letting track fill in before heading out again. Night riding is definitely one of the highlights, there is something truely magical about riding powder next to the piste under flood lights with hardly anyone else around. Japan is a unique snowboarding and cultural experience every snowboarder should experience at least one.
Please Note: This course is for experienced snowboarders. A strong level of fitness and at least 6 weeks of snowboarding experience is recommended. For more information please contact us via email or phone.
